Detroit ’67 Wiki Edit-A-Thon

dia.org
As events surrounding the 50th anniversary of the 1967 Detroit Rebellion seem to be dying down, the Detroit Institute of Arts is still working to provide a kind of clarity about the events leading up to the summer of turmoil in the Motor City. This afternoon event asks that people join together to provide additional and concurrent information on the 1967 Detroit rebellion Wikipedia page, as well as create new pages connected to the historical event to add diverse perspectives and counter narratives. Some training will be provided as needed.

Runs from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.; 5200 Woodward Ave., Detroit; 313- 833-7900; dia.org; Admission is free.
