Forget the old car models of your youth — Pasteiner's takes the art of collectable models to the next level with their super detailed resin models. While they carry a range, from 1/64 scale models ranging from around $5 each all the way to 1/43 scale models that can go as high as $450 each. Pasteiner says the resin-based models (as opposed to die-cast) are highly detailed and made in very limited editions — so if you don't snatch one, it's gone. These models don't come with the typical decals that can dry up after a few years but rather "pad printed" details, which are more like paint, so you can polish and dust it like a real car. Pasteiner even shows us a model that comes with tiny tweezers to unhook tiny leather straps that secure the hood. "I don't know how you could make them any better," Pasteiner says. "Other than if you had a button on it and you could hear it run or something."
