Talented young hopefuls are rehearsing and perfecting their song, rap and dance performances to prepare to take the stage at Hard Rock Café Detroit for the annual Covenant Idol competition. Doors open at 5 p.m. Show starts at 7 p.m. Local celebrity judges include: Aaron “BraveSoul” Parrott, producer, artist, musician, and songwriter; DeeLane, musician, actress, Star Factory; LaDarrel “Saxappeal” Johnson, Collective Peace. Hosted by Shannon Murphy from Channel 955’s Mojo in the Morning Show. Special guest performances by DJ 2Hype and Detroit Tap Repertory.
