It is particularly interesting to see where the members of various “post-hardcore” outfits have wound up over the years. On one end of the spectrum, we have screamo frontman-turned dubstep superstar Skrillex. On the other, we have the acoustic folk pop made by former Alexisonfire member Dallas Green, who now performs under the name City and Colour. As the softer side of Alexisonfire’s signature twin vocal sound, City and Colour is perhaps a more predictable endpoint for the melodic style that was so popular in the mid-2000s. Fans old and new ought not be disappointed.
