Café Cortina invites metro Detroit to explore and celebrate locally sourced food and wine from the Italian islands of Sicily and Sardinia.
Chef Ernesto Antopia and Sicily native Antonio Giannola created a menu exploring the freshness, seasonality and simplicity synonymous with Sicilian and Sardinian cuisine.
Many dishes utilize ingredients picked fresh from the restaurant’s extensive, on-premise garden or sourced specially from artisan villages in Italy. Keeping with tradition, all of Café Cortina’s pastas are handmade in-house.
Each of the five courses will be paired with popular wines sourced from some of the regions local wineries.
