Bye Bye Birdie takes place in the 1950s and centers around a rock & roll superstar, who is drafted into the army. His agent/song writer, Albert Peterson, and Albert's secretary/love interest, Rosie Alvarez, plan a farewell performance on the Ed Sullivan television show, in hopes it will provide publicity for his new song "One Last Kiss" and bring Albert's company out of debt. At the end of the performance, one lucky fan club girl will get a kiss from Birdie. Hi-jinks ensue! Tickets at Java House Cafe, South Lyon Center for Active Adults, and online at
