Whether you’re a fan of his earliest garage-rock recordings, an absolute fan of his anthemic ‘70s good-time ballads, or are just going along to this show with friends because it’s a thing to do, there is much to enjoy from a Bob Seger show. From the subtle and bluesy interplay between band members to the shirtless blotto dude right in front of you who keeps yelling “Like a roooooooooock!” long after the song has actually played, this is a true Michigander rite of passage. Unlike our other local rock star greats from the ‘60s and ‘70s, Seger still calls this area his home, plus, he’s neither dead nor an absolute nutjob! Like a rock, indeed.
