We can get down with our readers' vote for best pet supply store, mostly because this chain was founded in Redford a quarter-century ago. Jack Berry and Harry Shallop thought the idea of a supermarket-style pet shop would go over pretty well. Two hundred and fifty locations later and we're guessing some other folks really liked the idea too.
