Roast earns its honors as a happy-hour destination. After-work throngs descend on the restaurant’s bar area, drawn by the space’s laid-back elegance, its great beer and wine selection, including craft cocktails, a convivial networking scene, and that peerless happy hour menu. Roast’s kitchen does its proteins justice, aging everything at least 21 days, and each dish comes with that signatures Michael Symon touch that oozes a bit of sinfulness, like bone marrow or a fried egg.
