A companion store to the popular Clarkston Union restaurant, Union General Store offers up a quirky take on the idea of the traditional small-town gathering spot (Clarkston Union was built in an old church; this gift shop is in the church’s former clergy house — the owners live upstairs). Clarkston Union may have famously long wait times for a table, but at least you can browse Union General Store’s collection of toys, games, books, puzzles, soaps, stationery and freshly baked cupcakes.
