Bagley + Trumbull women-owned businesses celebrate first year in Corktown 

When: Sun., Sept. 17, 3-6 p.m. 2017
WHAT: Bring out the cake and ice cream for a first birthday celebration unlike any other in Detroit. The shops and establishments located at 1701 Trumbull in Detroit are coming together to celebrate their first year in business hosted by four local, successful female entrepreneurs.

EVENT: The afternoon celebration is open to the public and will feature the following: o Free kids haircuts offered by The Bearded Lady

o A piñata, party games and limited edition items offered by Mama Coo’s Boutique.

o Clark Street Boutique will pop-up on site.

o Outdoor barbecue with The Farmer’s Hand, offering locally-made hot dogs, hamburgers on the grill.

oVisit The Flower Truck by Pot + Box

o The Farmer’s Hand will provide specialty coupons for shoppers.

oDJ booth powered with solar energy

o Chair massages by Meta Physica

o Tarot readings

o 5 p.m. Join in and toast to the businesses, enjoy Birthday Cake and Ice Cream
