Azealia Banks

For Azealia Banks, Harlem-born rapper, pop star, and fire starter, the haters are only making her stronger. Sure, she might currently be engaged in a Twitter war with Cardi B (Banks called her the “poor man’s Nicki Minaj.” Ouch!), but her unique blend of ’90s club beats and modern hip-hop keeps us coming back for more. And, yeah, her Wikipedia page has an entire section dedicated to her various controversies, but when she hits the Motor City she’s sure to give a taste of her sophomore record Fantasea II: The Second Wave, which is due out on Halloween.

Doors open at 7 p.m; 431 E. Congress St., Detroit; 313-961-8961; saintandrewsdetroit.com; Tickets are $28.
