The Celebrating Southwest concert series presents the Arab American Celebration of 2017, which will uplift and showcase the diversity of arts & culture: music, dance, fashion and poetry--of Arab Americans in Metro Detroit. Come join us in this FREE event celebrating culture with outstanding performances including: VICTOR GHANNAM & FRIENDS (quintet) SHEEBA ENTERTAINMENT (Yemeni folkloric) MARLIN JENKINS (spoken word) ARAB WORLD FASHION & ACCESSORIES SHOWCASE TAMMY & THE ENEMIES (alternative rock) wsg/MC Kamelya Youssef plus DABKE dance demonstration There will also be arts & crafts, henna artist, calligrapher, halal food and more! Event will take place Rain or Shine.
