Join Dick Ruzzin as he shares his experiences working as an automobile designer at General Motors. One of General Motor’s most prolific car designers, Mr. Ruzzin got his start in GM design as a Junior Designer in Oldsmobile Exterior Design Studio. He would ultimately spend over 40 years designing for GM in its various studios for its various brands, before retiring as the Director of Design for Chevrolet cars. Mr. Ruzzin will discuss his design process, with close attention to some of his earliest works, many of which are featured in the Sloan Museum’s exhibition, Art at Work.
