All the ‘Star Wars’ fans we saw celebrating May the Fourth in Detroit

For a few credits you could smuggle your way into Detroit's Tangent Gallery for Space Dive, and be transported to a galaxy far, far away. The bar area, modeled after Tatooine’s infamous Mos Eisley cantina, served cocktails like blue milk and entertainment included the spacey sounds of Audra Kubat, Caveman and Bam Bam, Carjack, and Black Jake & the Carnies. Like Space Dives in the past, the event is just as much about the crowd bringing their devotion to Star Wars and all things sci-fi to life in homemade outfits and gear ready to do battle — and have a good time doing it.
