All the funky people we saw at the Roots and Slum Village at the Russell Industrial Center


The legendary hip-hop group the Roots — featuring Black Love, Quest Love, and Tuba Gooding Jr, among a full band — performed at the Russell Industrial Center on Sep. 1.  Karriem Riggens and Detroit's Slum Village opened the show with special guest Phat Kat.
