We don't know why the "Pope of Trash" insists on celebrating his birthday in Detroit as he has for the past three years.  But does it really matter? El Club renamed itself Sex Club to celebrate the 72nd birthday of beautiful freak, queer visionary, and cult filmmaker John Waters this weekend. Frequent collaborator Mink Stole and drag darling Peaches Christ joined in on the blowout.
