Alison Krauss & David Gray

Fun fact: Alison Krauss has won more Grammy awards than any other female singer. That’s right, the bluegrass/country singer has 27 golden gramophones to her name. Krauss is known for collaborating with other artists (seriously do yourself a favor and listen to her 2007 collaborative album with Robert Plant called Raising Sand, you’ll thank us later). She’ll be joined on stage at the Fox with British singer David Gray, who is known for his past hits like “Babylon” and the tearjerker “This Year’s Love.” We’re not sure what these two will sound like when they’re on stage together, but we’re sure that it will be nothing short of amazing.

Doors at 7:30 p.m.; 2211 Woodward Ave., Detroit; 313-471-3200; olympiaentertainment.com; Tickets start at $35.
