Alexander Hacke and Danielle de Picciotto

You might know Hacke by the pseudonym Alexander von Borsig, one of the founding members of abrasively brilliant industrial band Einsturzende Neubauten. The experimental and improvised style we remember Borsigfor still lives on in Hacke, whose conceptual project “We Are Gypsies,” with lady-friend Danielle de Picciotto (Crime and the City Solution), is just as wonderful and strange. Visual projections, loose narratives, and colorful costumes will add to this surreal multimedia experience.
