Ain't I A Woman: Songs of Protest and Hope

A benefit concert for Detroit Women's Chorus- the music stretches from the time of Sojourner Truth through the Black Lives Matter movement of today. Included are spirituals, anthems, and contemporary works that honor civil rights leaders of the past and give voice to leaders who remind us why we still march. In addition to the concert, attendees can tour part of the historic church and attend an afterglow with hors d'oeuvres, desserts, and door prizes.
