If the Dally in the Alley's not enough for you, dally on over to detroit contemporary by midnight to consume more creativity at "Power and Industry," an evening of independent film, video and experimental electronic music. Sound collagist Jeff Korolski will astound audiences with his recent work. Also on the bill is Grand Rapids Atari kraut-rock getup the Lsdudes. Rounding out the evening will be Emma Dilemma and her trance-groove, hip-hop computer funk. Giles Rothbury and Tim Caldwell will project their repulsively delightful film work on the outside wall of the gallery. And film and video by Troy Gregory, Lisa Colwell, Jennifer Baise, Bike Girl, Maurice Greenia and more will flicker well into the night. Melissa Giannini writes about music for Metro Times.
