Space is the place — for adults, that is. The Michigan Science Center’s annual World Space Party returns as a part of a global celebration of all things interstellar. See, in April of 1961, Soviet astronaut Yuri Gagaran became the first human to travel to space — and for that reason, we must party. MSC’s monthly After Dark series caters to the 21-and-older crowd because if anything is true of the cosmos, it is that in space, no one can hear you drink. During the World Space Party, guests are invited to peep the night sky in the planetarium, craft some galactic slime, and learn about how those damn space rovers, well, rove around up there.
