Big Gov.
Detroit’s own Big Gov is larger than life. Spitting straight fire, Big Gov talks a big game that is just as reflective of the struggle as it is about triumph and popping bottles. Considering he’s been recording since the age of 5, it’s no wonder that Big Gov has a penchant for unique rhyme structure and can dizzy even the most accomplished rappers. His latest collaboration with trap queen Neisha Ne’shae "Let Me Live” dropped earlier this summer, throwing shade at the haters and showing praise on humble beginnings.

Doors open at 8 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 13 at the Loving Touch, 22634 Woodward Ave., Ferndale; 248-820-5596; thelovingtouchferndale.com; Tickets are $15.
