Bob Seger joined Eagles on stage this weekend and it was magic

Two metro Detroit legends came together at Dodgers Stadium in LA this past Saturday and we're incredibly jealous that we missed out. While the Eagles played their first show without metro Detroit-native Glenn Frey, Bob Seger stepped out on stage to lend his vocals to the classic "Heartache Tonight," a song that Frey took lead vocals on. You can watch a video of the song below.

The "Classic West" music festival went down this past weekend at Dodgers Stadium with Eagles headlining Saturday night alongside other bands like the Doobie Brothers and Steely Dan. Fleetwood mac headlined the Sunday evening show.

It was a questioned who owuld replace Frey's vocals when the band would finally reunite for the gig. Frey's son, Deacon Frey, stepped out and sang lead vocal on a few of his father's classic songs like "Take It Easy" and "Already Gone," Rolling Stone reports.

If you missed the Classic West festival this past weekend, Classic East goes down in two weeks in New York City with the same lineup. Hopefully Seger will join the band again.
