Tim Allen compared Hollywood to 1930s Germany and the Anne Frank Center is pissed

Oh, Tim Allen. Maybe you should stick to Pure Michigan ads and selling massive amounts of coke instead of making "jokes" about politics?

The actor/comedian appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live and talked about his experience attending Donald Trump's inauguration. Allen, who is conservative, said "you've got to be real careful around here or you'll get beat up." He added, "If you don't believe what everybody believes, this is like thirties in Germany."

The Anne Frank Center for Mutual Respect fired back to Allen's comments in a statement saying "no one in Hollywood today is subjecting you or anyone else to what the Nazis imposed on Jews in the 1930s."

Steven Goldstein, the Executive Director of the Anne Frank Center for Mutual Respect also added "Sorry Tim, that's just not the same as getting turned down for a movie role. It's time for you to leave your bubble to apologize to the Jewish people and, to be sure, the other peoples also targeted by the Nazis."

There has been no comment from Allen or his representatives.
