Ford Piquette Avenue Plant announces auto show hours


Ever wanted to see the birthplace of the automotive assembly line? See it this month and you'll be in good company, as auto enthusiasts descend on Detroit to see the latest vehicles at the North American International Auto Show.

The birthplace in question is the Ford Piquette Avenue Plant, which will be open to the public 10 a.m.-4 p.m. daily, with docent-led tours at 10 a.m., noon, and 2 p.m. Admission is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, $5 for students, with children 12 and younger free.
