A poignant brochure by Birmingham-based agency Brogan & Partners addressing Detroit's thousands of forgotten rape kits took Best of Show last week at Adcraft’s Ninth Annual D Show.

The firm created the work as part of a campaign called "Enough SAID" (Enough Sexual Assault In Detroit) to draw attention to the 11,000 untested rape kits found in a Detroit Police Department storage unit in 2009. The brochure uses a barcode motif to put a face to the pain that each untested kit represents.

It was part of a campaign that helped raise more than $1.3 million in funds raised for the Michigan Women’s Foundation. "It is a creative work, but the cause is extraordinary," Marcie Brogan, board chair of Brogan & Partners, told Crain's Detroit Business. "We're always proud of the work we do, but most proud when the work we do does good."
