The Who's rescheduled Joe Louis Arena show set as their tour kickoff on February 27, 2016

If you held onto your ticket for the cancelled Who date, just present it at the gate at Joe Louis Arena on February 27, and you will get in to see one of the best bands in the history of rock music. I mean, The Who Sell Out is arguably the best concept album ever made (partly because they abandoned the concept itself two thirds of the way through when they ran out of funds.)

Anyway, speaking of funds, you can find tickets for the rescheduled show here. Looks like Joan Jett is still the opening band, which is cool. I saw the Who at a stadium in Florida in 1981, and she opened for them then.

THE WHO today announced the rescheduled dates for their “THE WHO HITS 50!” North American tour, which was postponed earlier this month to allow lead singer Roger Daltrey time to recover from his recent bout with viral meningitis. “THE WHO HITS 50!” 2016 dates kick off February 27 in Detroit at Joe Louis Arena and includes stops in Toronto, New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles, before wrapping May 29 in Las Vegas.
