Bud Light created an entire limited edition series of cans for Mad Decent Block Party

According to these press materials, "82% of millennials would rather go on a social media diet this summer than not listen to music for a week. So this year Bud Light put the music first and partnered with Mad Decent to develop 31 artist-inspired can label designs that will be available exclusively at Mad Decent Block Parties."

Well, obviously. Actually, we have no idea what that means, or how Anheuser-Busch's marketing gurus arrived at that conclusion.

What we do know is that attendees checking out Detroit's Mad Decent Block Party — which rolls into the Russell Industrial Center this Saturday — will be treated to the limited edition designs, which were created using a new packaging technology. According to a press release, the method enabled 31 designs to get transformed into more than 31 million possible graphics, so no two cans are exactly like. They say they are the first brand to use this technology in the U.S.
