Apparently things didn't go so well for Detroit rapper Deja "DeJ Loaf" Trimble at this past weekend's BET Awards.
According to TMZ, Trimble was involved in a backstage brawl that started when two of her recently axed ex-managers showed up during Saturday's soundcheck at Los Angeles' Microsoft Theater. That's when a fight broke out between the former management and Trimble, her brother, and her new management. Reportedly, one of the former managers required stitches for a head wound, though according to
Fader Trimble didn't throw any of the punches.
Trimble was nominated for three BET Awards (best female hip-hop artist, best new artist, and the "viewers' choice award" for
"Try Me").
