TERRIBLE TED MEETS ELMO...

...but all for a good cause.

We’re not always the biggest Ted Nugent fans around here, but fair is fair – and occasionally the Motor City Madman does show his humanitarian heart. The Terrible One has donated his time (he’ll be taking someone hunting – no comment) to JJ & Lynne's All New Radiothon to Benefit The Children's Leukemia Foundation of Michigan, which takes place tomorrow, Thursday, January 24th, from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the 94.7 WCSX Studios located at One Radio Plaza in Detroit.

There are several ways to be part of the radiothon. There’s an online auction already up and running at www.wcsx.com where you can place bids on such groovy gifts as “Hunting with Ted Nugent” or four front row tickets, as well as “meet and greet” passes, for the upcoming Elmo Makes Music show in Detroit. Also, if you stop by the WCSX studios tomorrow during the radiothon hours and donate $20, you’ll get a personal tour of the facilities. Finally, there’s a Guitar Jam taking place tomorrow between 6 and 8 p.m. at the Oakland Mall. Bring your guitar and amp, donate $5 and join in on the jam of Blue Oyster Cult ’s “Don’t Fear The Reaper,” which will be broadcast live on WCSX.

You can also just simply call in a donation tomorrow at 1-866-774-9279. Visit the website listed above for more info. It’s for a great cause, folks, so get your butts in gear!
