Next week, a slim margin of those who can actually vote will choose Michigan's next governor, a U.S. congressman, and whether they want the state to allow a wolf hunt. Besides that, there's a number of important local races up for grabs. There's a lot to digest, but don't fret: If you're free tomorrow evening,
Michigan Radio will host an event in downtown Detroit along with columnists from the
Detroit Free Press and
Bridg Magazine.
As part of its Issue & Ale series,
Michigan Radio says
the 90-minute talk will "take a fun, and fast packed look at prospects for Election 2014." Expected panelists include: Zoe Clark and Rick Pluta of
Michigan Radio; Stephen Henderson and Nancy Kaffer, editorial page editor and columnist, respectively, of the
Detroit Free Press; David Zeman, editor of
Bridge; and John Bebow, president of the Center for Michigan.
The event is free and will run from 6-7:30 p.m. at Detroit Beer Company, located at 1529 Broadway in Detroit. You can join the Facebook event page
