Cadillac Square will host another World Cup Viewing Party

Bigger and better than the first time around, Campus Martius will host another World Cup viewing party inside Cadillac Square tomorrow, Tuesday, July 1 from 4 to 6 p.m. Round two of the public screening will feature more amenities, including an additional 18-foot by 10-foot LED screen.

The screening is free and the general public is welcome and asked to bring lawn chairs, but to leave their coolers at home. Several local food trucks will be in attendance including Buffy's Mexi-Casian, Heart to SoulStockyardEl Guapo, Detroit Pommes Frites, and Chef Cari's "the Spot”. The Beach Bar and Grille and Fountain Bistro will both be open as well. Several restaurants that flank Campus Martius are also offering deals during the screening. The Roasting Plant will offer iced teas for half off and the Subway at the corner of Congress and Bates will offer buy-one-get-one-free six-inch sandwiches from 3 to 7 p.m.

Once again Fathead Bigheads, a presenting sponsor will infiltrate the crowd, offering photo ops for all.

Also presented by Detroit City Football Club and Bedrock Real Estate Services, the former will have merchandise and information available while the latter will be giving away a limited number of thunder sticks.
