Created with the architecture or art buff in mind, these items aim to satisfy the needs of any style craver in search of something a little different. The Saguaro Forms Art Glass is an 11-inches-by-12-inches reproduction of a stained glass mural created for the Arizona Biltmore Hotel in the 1970s. The mural was based on some colored-pencil drawings Wright had created for Liberty magazine. But the drawings, entitled “Saguaro Forms and Cactus Flowers,” were considered too radical and thus, never published.
This replica sells for about $80 at www.hudsons.com and at the store itself. Other items in the collection include the Oak Park Studio Skylight, Robie House Fretwork Panel, Waterlilies Art Glass, Wright’s Pencil Poster and others. The replicas range from $60 to $125.
