The first Hamtramck Music Festival, taking place March 6-8, announced over 100 bands that will be performing over the weekend.

Highlights include Pewter Cub, the Jesus Chainsaw Massacre, Phantom Cats, Beekeepers, Caveman Woodman, La Lac Belle, Danny Kroha, All the Wild Children, the Bobby Electric, Electric Lions Soundwave Experiment, Citizen Smile, Sisters Of Your Sunshine Vapor, Palaces, Zombie Jesus & the Chocolate Sunshine Band, Rogue Satellites, Duane the Brand New Dog, the Frustrations, Carjack, Mexican Knives, the Deadbeat Beat, the Walking Beat, Junk Food Junkies, and the incredible Melvin Davis.
The event will be going on at 16 venues in Hamtramck, as well as a few parking lots and record stores. It’s a grass-roots local music festival that should be supported.
