Detroit-based clothing boutique, Bird Bee, will soon be serving up new looks through a new soon-to-be-launched sister-store.

Bird Bee's latest venture, Urban Angelo, is getting a brick and mortar location at 90 Erskine Street within The Scott at Brush Park apartment complex. Urban Angelo can be described as Bird Bee's answer to streetwear fashion, offering minimalist designs in denim, elevated neutrals, and loungewear at a moderate price point.

Urban Angelo was originally launched exclusively as a menswear store in 2017. However, Bird Bee owner Taylor Bollebar decided to integrate women's fashion into the new location.“The concept behind Urban Angelo is really a work of art and unlike any store I can think of," Bollebar says, "I can’t say how many people, Detroiters and tourists alike, tell me they hope to see more unique local retail added to the city."

Urban Angelo will be Bollebar's second retail location after launching Bird Bee, a contemporary bohemian womenswear store, in Capitol Park in 2017. Urban Angelo will relaunch as an online store on Thursday, Oct. 11, while the grand opening of the new retail location is tentatively scheduled for November.
