Bobcat Bonnie's is planning to open its third location later this year.
The new restaurant is in the works in the former Eden Nightclub and Doug's Body Shop space at 22061 Woodward Ave., just south of downtown Ferndale.
The Free Press reports that the menu will be the same as that at the restaurant's Corktown and Wyandotte locations, and the 200-seat space will also include a private dining room and bar in the basement.
Owner Matthew Buskard opened the Corktown restaurant in 2014. In 2017, he opened a Wyandotte location, which temporarily shut, then re-opened in December.
Buskard is targeting a fall opening in Ferndale.
