Nothing calls to mind the sweet age of indie rock quite like the musical stylings of Interpol, who first shimmied into our hearts with 2004's "Slow Hands."  Though they've been slow to release new music, they're back and with new antics.

The band extended their North American itinerary Tuesday in support of their forthcoming record Marauder, which is slated for an August release. The new schedule includes dates in Philadelphia, Boston, Austin, and Royal Oak. The band plays at Royal Oak Music Theatre on Sept. 16.

Earlier this week the post-punk revivalists released "The Rover," their first single from their sixth studio record and a long-awaited follow-up to 2014's El Pintor. The band broke the news of the new record via a live-streamed press conference in Mexico City, which is reportedly going to be turned into a music video.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, June 16 at 10 a.m. and can be purchased here.
Tickets start at $34.
