Earlier today, rock act Tool announced the dates for its Music Clinic, an "Immersive Dissection" that promises "a rare glimpse behind-the-scenes." The limited dates includes a May 16 stop at the Royal Oak Music Theatre.

Drummer Danny Carey, bassist Justin Chancellor, and guitarist Adam Jones will discuss the band’s songwriting process and then perform the songs live. Audience members will be able to ask questions during an open discussion and mingle with the band afterward. Ticket holders will receive commemorative merchandise, and an accompanying traveling exhibit will feature unique items from the band’s history.

Tickets for the exclusive event are $500 and go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. on Friday here. The show is all ages.
