Detroit Bully Corps is a non-profit dedicated to helping abused, neglected and homeless dogs. They advocate for these animals through education, adoption, rehabilitation and training. This charity focuses on, "Bully Breeds," especially pit bulls.
The Michigan Humane Society is constructing a state-of-the-art animal care center in Detroit. The Animal Care Campus is a 34,000-square-foot shelter, and is expected to be completed by early 2016. The larger shelter will allow the Humane Society to grow teaching and training efforts, and will work closely with Michigan State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine.
