Old Detroit haunt takes on new appeal. The Bronx is short on frills - no bands, no parking, no Red Bull or exotic martinis - but long on character. Its pool table, cheap beer (an ice-cold Old Milwaukee will set you back as much as your DDOT bus fare) and jukebox stocked with old soul, hip-hop and greasy rawk, keep the place packed with local rock stars, college kids and other Cass Corridor gritterati. Stop in on Thursdays for a haircut in the pinball salon - owner Paul Howard promises "a high-class do at dive-bar prices." Or come by with everyone else after a garage-rock show to see what (allegedly) makes the Bronx Jack White's favorite hometown drinking spot. At 4476 Second Avenue, Detroit. Call 313-832-8464 for further lowdown. -Ian LeBlanc
The atmosphere at Charlies Too is very frindly. Our walls are decorated with a wide aray of Harley Davidson gas tanks. We have a killer bike night on Thursdays during the summer. A great time any night of the week!
The Comet bar is one of the best neighborhood bars in Detroit. In the summer months we have an outside tiki bar where you can enjoy horse shoes or volley ball. We are located within walking distance to Comerica Park, Ford Field and many other downtown attractions. So come on in and enjoy the game or just relax and have a drink. This small, dark bar is a great place to bump elbows with the folks who keep Detroit's Cass Corridor neighborhood filled with tales to tell.
Burly Eastern Market butchers chow down at this joint when they finish work. Big burgers, daily specials, stuffed chicken breasts, baby back ribs, whitefish and smelt. Meat's the word.

Live entertainment, great food, spirits, games, horseshoes, several TV's to catch the big game on, daily food and drink specials, and friendly service all under one roof. The Getaway is the perfect spot to grab a bite or a drink and Getaway from the daily grind.
"Your basic dive bar, a great place to hang out with friends. The jukebox plays everything from Hank Williams to the Sex Pistols. That's probably why it was voted 'Best Jukebox' five years in a row in our very own 'Best of Detroit.'

As many as 30 to 40 people can sit outside, complete with Waspinators to keep your eating adventure clean and fun. Note: The badass jukebox plays funk and Motown, and can be heard out on the patio.
