LGBTQ+ bar in Detroit: Games: Video Games

In the summer months, historic Kerrytown's Aut Bar spills out onto a quiet courtyard it has nearly all to itself. Functioning as a restaurant and a bar (the second level is 21 and older only), the kitchen was formerly only open at night, But there's now a popular weekend brunch Saturday (10 a.m.- 2 p.m.) and Sunday (10a.m.-3 p.m.) For brunch, Mexican specialties are standouts, including breakfast burritos or huevos motulenos — layers of corn tortilla, eggs, and black beans with ranchero sauce, diced ham, peas and cheese on top. Even the standard omelet gets a twist, like the take-off from meat and cheese in their turkey and gouda. The Aut Bar is definitely gay-friendly, catering to the LGBT community and their friends, families, and allies.

For Detroit's lesbian-gay-transgendered-bisexual community, the Rainbow Room is the premiere club in town, with non-stop dancing and parties. On Wednesdays we host a talent contest, open to everyone. Thursday is open mic night, with a live band and special guest entertainment. Sunday night's Rainbow Room Revue features Jennifer Fox and Trixie Deluxxe, with other special guests ... plus country line dancing and two-step from 5-9 pm.

Stilettos is a long established nightclub in the gay and lesbian community. We offer two bars in one with a fabulous stage/showbar on one side and a wild and hopping dance club on the other. We offer nightly entertainment featuring Michigan's hottest male and female impersonators. We also showcase gay/lesbian bands, singers, and commedians as well. The relaxed and friendly atmosphere will make you feel welcome and our gracious staff will take care of all of your needs. Stilettos is one of the only clubs in Michigan which caters to a lesbian clientele. While 'everyone' is welcome, hundreds of women gather here on Saturday nights to dance and mingle as they have since the bar opened seven years ago. Zipper's has been in business for ten years. We welcome all gay, lesbian and bisexuals of all races and backgrounds. We have two well-stocked bars, a game room, and video monitors. Our music policy is house and hip hop. DJ Greg Collier spins on Fridays and DJ Sarena Tyler on Saturdays.
