Detroit Jazz Fills Greektown at The Jazz Loft; Gerard Evans featured on Sax The Jazz Loft sets an intimate setting for Detroit Jazz lovers.
The Jazz Loft in the heart of downtown Detroit’s Greektown, provides guests with an atmosphere of authentic Detroit jazz. Featuring live music, dancing, drink specials, fine Greek cuisine and a full bar, guests get a night filled with entertainment. From 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. every Monday through Wednesday, The Jazz Loft is filled with funky grooves and is a great spot to mingle in an intimate setting. Every Monday and Tuesday the Gerard Evans Quintet fills The Jazz Loft with classic jazz. Featured artists on these nights include Gerard Evans on sax, Greg Cook on bass, Milt Hale and Djallo Djakate on drums , Eileen Orr on keys and Shiron Denise on vocals. Musicians are welcome to come and sit in. Wednesday night brings sexy, tight, funky grooves to The Jazz Loft.
