This jukebox musical follows Mama Cass Elliot from her time as a teenage Broadway hopeful, through her untimely death at the peak of her career. Featuring music from The Mamas and the Papas, The Big Three, The Mugwumps and her solo career, the play explores Cass’ struggle with being a big woman with a bigger voice in the image-oriented music industry, as well as the complicated relationships between the members of The Mamas and Papas as they sat at the forefront of the hippie music movement. Written by Detroit’s own Margaret Edwartowski. $28-$38

Kyle Riabko, Broadway’s “Hair” and “Spring Awakening” alumni, is coming to the Berman to perform songs from his latest album ‘Richard Rodgers Reimagined’ which was inspired by a fan letter Rodgers had written to Burt Bacharach. No doubt, Riabko learned of this letter while working on “Close to You: Bacharach Reimagined,” a show which brought Kyle international acclaim. Kyle Riabko is a singer, guitarist, composer and actor. Before Broadway, Kyle released a full-length album and toured as an opening act for such artists as: BB King, James Brown, John Mayer and Jason Mraz. $38-$50
