Members of the public are invited to join activists, students, and scholars for a series of presentations and panels addressing current social and environmental injustices. “Disrupting Empire: Education and Activism for a Decolonized World” explores the historically colonizing forces of global economic and cultural empires. This will include discussions related to the historical processes of displacement and dispossession of communities and land, as well as the ways education and activism can disrupt these forces. Events begin Thursday evening, with additional featured events on Friday and Saturday. For free registration, visit the conference website at ecojusticeconference.weebly.com. Free
