Anthony R. Brass Art Exhibition

Sun., Jan. 27, 11 a.m. and Sun., March 17, 11 a.m.
phone 248-546-2504

Anthony R. Brass’ art often seems to grow beyond a frame. The works he’ll have on display this winter at the Ferndale Area District Library (starting January 27), will ostensibly be “framed,” but each illustration suggests an expansiveness, a natural unfurling akin to the way a tree root may upend concrete as it spreads, or how a river gently carves rock, or the way our own feet or hands can leave indentations upon the soil as we travel. free
