This fall, Ford House is celebrating Eleanor Ford’s love of roses with an elegant open air soirée to indulge in the sensuous flavors, aromas and elegance of the beautiful bloom during Evening of Roses, Thursday, Sept. 20 at 5:30 p.m. The event will feature opportunities to stroll through Eleanor’s beloved gardens, learn more about roses through hands-on demonstrations, and tempt the sense of taste with an event-exclusive rose-infused cocktail and desserts made with rose. All registration fees and pledges help fund services for older adults – meals and nutrition, health and wellness, dance and exercise, transportation and advocacy, and many social activities. The Expo – from 9 AM to 11 AM – showcases vendors, centers and health care providers that assist seniors and their caregivers.
