Artists of all skill levels are invited to join a weekly drop-in multimedia drawing class at the Jewish Community Center. The two-hour sessions on Thursdays from 2 – 4 p.m. include all the materials, a still life arrangement and professional instruction from Todd Larson, a Detroit area artist and ceramicist. $8

The Metro Parent Kids Hero Con, previously Kids Comic Con, is back for an even bigger and better year of epic fun for children all around metro Detroit and Ann Arbor. Kids are welcome to dress up as their favorite superheroes or princesses and have their pictures taken with Bat Hero, Spider Hero, Snow Queen and many more.
