Alice Liddell & Dancers at Science Gallery's Hustle Exhibit

Sat., July 21, 5-6:30 p.m. and Sun., July 22, 3-4:30 p.m.
info@detroit.sciencegallery.com

@ Science Gallery Detroit, 1001 Woodward Ave
This dance performance explores the concept of effort through the lens of working hard without reaping results. Many of the systems we operate in have tangible ways to measure our success. For example, in school, our grades on exams reflect our hard work and often garner a reward, recognizable to others and ourselves. However, once we are removed from this system, we are no longer guaranteed results from our efforts, and we must reconcile with the dissolution of this familiar structure. There will be two performances per day: 7.21.18 | 5:15pm-5:35pm, 6:00pm-6:20pm 7.22.18 | 3:15pm-3:35pm, 4:00pm-4:20pm Free
