The Squirrels is a fast-paced, witty dark comedy for our times (by the playwright of the Tony Award® nominated play Hand to God). Sciurus, the patriarch of a family of gray squirrels, has collected enough nuts to last ten winters. When a group of starving fox squirrels begs him to share his hoard of food, animosity erupts into ferocious war. The Squirrels is a wild, rollercoaster ride about a family of squirrels (yes, squirrels) as they face the challenges of climate change and the changes amongst their scurry – no creature comes out unscathed! 248-347-0003

Kate was stressed enough about her band, work, family, and friendships. Then a demon showed up. Now it’s worse. Taking influence from the zombie comedy of Shaun of the Dead and the noir comedy of The Nice Guys, Serenity Curse inserts comedy into the psychological horror of films like Jacob’s Ladder and It Follows. It tackles heavy subjects like depression with enough levity to make you laugh, enough heart to make you cry, and enough demonic possession to make you grip your armrest. Content Warning: Play contains violence, themes of depression and self-harm. N/A

Turboteen: Live and Reloading is a heightened drive through the subconscious of a washed up former teen hero, his codependent best friend, his Ex Girlfriend and their many, powerful enemies. Based on the Hanna-Barbera cartoon of the same name, Turboteen: Live and Reloading tells the bizarre story of a half human half car named Brett Matthews, Turboteen, and his struggle with a world that no longer cares about him. A ridiculous, out of the box comedy from open to close that is sure to keep you guessing and laughing. 313 -403-1814

To celebrate their 20th anniversary, Vanessa and Brian take a road trip in hopes of reinvigorating their marriage. Lost in the California mountains, they arrive at the restaurant of a ski lodge in the middle of July. The restaurant is open although Vanessa and Brian appear to be its only customers. Three locals encountered by the couple recognize Vanessa as their very dear friend Annabella, even though Vanessa’s shy, mousy personality is nothing like the descriptions of the amazing, vivacious Annabella. The Theatre opens 1 hour before show time for drinks, food, and mingling. Parking lot directly adjacent to theatre. 313-868-1347
